Using the FAQs/Policy/Forms Tile


Concept

In this topic you will learn how to use the FAQs/Policy/Forms tile to assist you with any questions/training needs you may have regarding the My Bidder and My Supplier Portal pages.


Steps:

  1. The FAQs/Policy/Forms tile provides links to FAQ's, MTA Policy Information and MTA Forms for both bidders and suppliers.

  2. For this exercise, click the FAQs/Policy/Forms tile.

  3. The MTA FAQ page displays. The first FAQ displays in the panel on the right side of the page.

     

    Note: The MTA Portal FAQ's will vary depending if the user is a bidder or supplier.  Click the applicable FAQ in the left panel to display the details.

  4. Click the Collapse button to close the FAQ section.

  5. Click the UPK/Training Materials link.

  6. Click the eSupplier link to view the UPK training materials.

  7. The eSupplier UPK topics display for the user in a new window.

     

    Note: The eSupplier UPK topics are self-paced and repeatable training that provides step-by-step instructions for the user. The general duration for each topic 3-5 minutes.

  8. To begin, the user must first select the UPK topic to view.

     

    For this exercise, click on the Initiate a Supplier Change Request topic.

  9. The eSupplier UPK's accommodates various learning styles by providing 4 different presentation modes:

     

    See It! Mode - Enables the user to learn by watching the topic. All the required activities, such as moving the mouse and entering data, are completed automatically. You can pause, resume and replay the training at any time.

     

    Try It! Mode - Enables the user to learn a task by practicing in a simulated environment with step-by-step instructions and guidance throughout the task.

     

    Do It! Mode- Enables the user to learn interactively using live data. The user is presented with a small window on top of the live application that displays each step-by-step instructions for completing the task.

     

    Print It! Mode- Enables the user to display a document (Job Aid) supplied for the topic. The user can review the document online or print it.

     

    Note: The user will proceed through the UPK topic by clicking on the applicable presentation mode (See It!, Try It!, Do It! and Print It!) and following the instructions/steps to complete the topic.

  10. Click the Close button to close the UPK topic window and return to the FAQs/Policy/Forms tile content.

  11. Click the Supplier Forms link.

  12. The MTA Supplier Forms displays.  All applicable forms and informational documents needed to do business with the MTA are listed.

     

    Click the applicable form(s) to open it in a new window where it can be viewed and downloaded.

     

    Note: If the user is a Bidder, the Bidder specific forms displays.

  13. Click the Collapse button to close the Forms section.

    This page contains links to those policies that pertain to BSC business processes carried out in partnership with the MTA agencies and vendors.
